CTET (Central Teaching Eligibility Test) is a national level examination conducted to certify eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers at Primary and Upper Primary level. It is conducted twice a year in February and July. CTET 2019 July session was held on July 7, 2019 in 97 cities across India. A record 14 lakhs candidates took the exam, out of 20,84,147 registered applicants.

CTET Result 2019 - Qualifying marks
- The qualifying mark of CTET 2019 is 60% for General category and 55% for OBC/SC/CT categories.
- Candidates who will score equal to or more than the qualifying marks will be considered qualified in the exam.
- Candidates have to obtain 90 marks out of a total of 150 in their respective paper.
- School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
- Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

CTET Duplicate Marksheet
In case of loss or damage of CTET certificate, candidates can apply for a duplicate certificate. A candidate can get a duplicate copy of CTET marksheet / Eligibility certificate by paying the prescribed fees through Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi.

Validity Period of Certificate
- The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the announcement of its result for all categories.

- The cutoff is released after the declaration of CTET Result.

- Candidates who will score more than or equal to the cutoff scores will be considered for issuance of the eligibility certificate.
