Objectives
(A)
The State Examination Board is an autonomous body under the education department of the state. It takes the following exams:
1. Pre-training for pre-primary school teachers (pre-PTC) jobs.
2. Primary Primary School Teachers (PTC)
3. Career Development Curriculum Examinations like Preliminary and Intermediate Drawing Grade.
4. Diploma in home science, banking, accounting and physics, etc. in the field of professional vocational courses
5.
CP Ed and D.P. A physical education course like Ed
6. Diploma in Basic Education
૭. A departmental examination to update the functioning of the education department
૮. Higher art exams to nurture and develop a sense of beauty and value in children.
૯. Defense Sanctuary and the NTS RIMC for admission in Such as national level exams
૧૦. Discipleship Examination for elementary and secondary students
૧૧. Sanskrit school examinations like first, middle, scribe and principal.
૧૨. Take the exam board as prescribed or any other examination assigned by the government.
(B) The State Examination Board shall assist and guide the Education Department of the Government of Gujarat in implementing its policy and conducting major programs in the field of examination throughout the State.
(C) The important function of the State Examination Board is to raise the standard of examination level, for this purpose the State Examination Board will organize the work. It will be modernized and implemented as follows
1. Communication of all examinations.
2. Lamination of certificates and certificates.
3. Bar coding of respondents to keep candidates' identities private for the appraiser.

Improve examinations in private and confidential.
5.
Assess the accountability of all examinations with a centralized assessment.
6. Commodore hardware and software facilities, etc.
According to the above objectives, the functions of the State Examination Board shall be as follows:
1.
To cooperate and support state education departments, universities and other educational institutions to pursue its objectives.
2. Establish and execute in different parts the institutions necessary to achieve its objectives.
3. To act as a clearing house for development and information on all matters relating to the examination taken by the State Examination Board.
4. To advise the State Government and other educational organizations and institutions on matters related to the examinations conducted by the State Examination Board.
5. Purchase, lease or otherwise obtain a real or immovable property bounty that is necessary or convenient for the purpose of the State Examination Board and to construct and maintain a building for the purpose of the State Examination Board thereafter.
6. Take the necessary steps to achieve the objectives outlined in Article (1) above (as determined by the Executive Committee from time to time).

Establish educational, administrative, supervision, industrial and other places in the State Examination Board and pay for it according to the rules and regulations of the State Examination Board.
૮. Formulate rules and regulations for carrying out the functions of the State Examination Board and add, amend or repeal them from time to time.
૯. Accepting or provisioning any money, loans, securities or any kind of property, and accepting the arrangement of a trust fund or donation that is inconsistent with the proper consideration of taxation and eligibility.

Expenditure after drafting the budget to take into account the efficiency and suitability.
૧૧. To prepare the annual report and accounts of the State Examination Board.
૧૨. Investing in the securities of the State Examination Board or in such manner as may be prescribed by the State Examination Board from time to time, and / or selling and transferring such capital investment under the direction of the State Examination Board.
૧૩. Purchase, lease, lease, exchange or otherwise obtain or acquire any premises or premises necessary to achieve the objectives of the State Examination Board.
14. To provide educational assistance / guidance to the educational institution by visiting the relevant offices or schools.
૧૫. To cooperate with the Government of Gujarat for better facilities for revising examinations and standards.
૧૬. Seek fierce involvement and active collaboration of academic institutions, voluntary organizations, teacher organizations and individual committees for educational reforms
